Chicken Shit Recipe:
This recipe is southern comfort favorite of mine! It is so easy and so delicious. However, if you are looking for something healthy this is NOT the meal for you. It is creamy, cheese, and savory. I would recommend this meal for someone who is in need of something quick and comforting.
For this recipe you will need:
- 2 chicken breasts (either raw or from rotisserie chicken)
- 1 can of cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup of shredded cheese (any kind you like)
- 1 box of Stove Top chicken flavored stuffing
- To begin take a glass casserole dish and spray the bottom with non-stick cooking spray. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- If you are using rotisserie chicken layer the bottom of the pan with the shredded chicken breast. If you are using raw chicken cook it in a pan with butter. Season your chicken with salt, pepper, poultry seasoning, and garlic powder. Once chicken is thoroughly cooked use kitchen scissors to cut up and put at bottom of casserole dish.
- Empty contents of cream of chicken soup over top of shredded chicken. Spread evenly.
- Layer cheese on top. I used mozzarella and cheddar, but you can use any kind you like. Pack on as much cheese are you want! I used about a cup of each.
- Pour the whole box of stuffing over top of this. Make sure it is evenly spread.
- Place in oven and bake 20 minutes at 325 degrees.
- ENJOY!!
I made this dish and was able to serve my family of 5. Everyone seemed to really enjoy it. It pairs well with some buttered biscuits. I hope you love this dish as much as I do! Everyone needs some southern comfort in their lives!
