This Easter was my first time cooking on my own. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak I was unable to see a lot of my friends and family. However, I did successfully make an 11lb ham! The glaze I made was absolutely delicious and I was super proud of how moist the ham came out. Here is my recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 Precooked 11lb bone in ham (sizes can vary but cooking times will differ)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbs honey
- 2 tbs mustard
- 2 tbs Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Fill a baking pan with about 1 inch of water.
- Place the ham in the center of the pan and bake for about 2 hours.
- Check the pan about every 30 minutes just to make sure there is enough water on the bottom of the tray.
- After 2 hours begin making the glaze.
- Over medium heat combine all ingredients and stir vigorously about 3-5 min. Do not let glaze overheat and crystallize.
- Once glaze is prepared spread it evenly over ham.
- Bake ham for another 30 minutes.
- Let Rest for about 20 minutes’
- ENJOY!!
